There is no doubt that anyone planning Washington DC travel will enjoy themselves. This is a city that a rich history and many tourist destinations. This greenway takes you right past a number of hot tourist spots and areas of interest. Those who have little ones will be thrilled with the carousel in front of the Arts and Industries Building.

Lincoln Memorial is located down this greenway, and it is a great pit stop to make. No one or no picture can really prepare you for the size of this monstrous monument until you get to see it in person.

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial is another popular stop for those who have lost loved ones in a previous war. The rows upon rows of graves here will give you a real taste of the true consequences of war. The Holocaust Museum is another solemnizing, yet historically remarkable sight.
